A strong corps of volunteers is the lifeblood of Blue Ridge Hospice. Without these caring, dedicated individuals who give so generously of their time, energy and abilities, the Blue Ridge Hospice program would not be possible.
Hospice volunteer training is given with dual objectives. Obviously, it seeks to train volunteers to work with Blue Ridge Hospice but it also tries to improve attitudes within the community toward the idea of death and the dying patient.
