Tag Deadline
Rappahannock County Tags are now on sale. The deadline for purchasing and displaying stickers is May 1. Taxes must be paid and 1985 assessment declared before buying county tags. The tags may be purchased at the Treasurer’s Office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Frances Foster, treasurer, said that tag sales are slow now, but that the office will be busy the last two days of this month with the sales. “It would help if people would come in early to buy their tags so they won’t have to stand in line,” Foster said.
