GEEETINGS TO EVERYONE
I want to talk to you about your father; the y man you call "daddy". You know that your dad ^will always be there to help you and stand by! #your side. I know my dad has done just that for V the past 24 years and I thank God for him. £ But what I want to share with you is the; J love our Heavenly Father has for us. The Bible y says that we have a sonship with God and we' *cry "Abba Father" (Read Romans 8;15). The! words "Abba Father" in the original text is liter y ally saying "Daddy". Have youever thought of! ^calling God, Daddy? You can if you are One of! iHischildren. (Romans8:14-16) ! y The Dictionary defines the word “daddy"! P meaning father. j ? God's love for you and I is great; He loves! y so much that he chose us before the founda- \ j» Hon of the world and He called us to adoption to j J Himself by Jesus Christ, (Ephesians 1:4 & 5)! P that is not to say that the Father God made us J * robots — the choice to accept what Jesus has J f done for us is left up to each individual person. J fHave you heard what Jesus did for us? It’s 4 * Wonderful!! He gave Himself for us and died on J f a cross ---He bore all of our sins — all of our! J sickness and diseases — and all of our sor-3 Jrows (Isaiah 53:5 + Matthew 8:17) He went to? fHell (or the lower parts of the earth) in our! f place (Ephesians 4:8 & 9) and paid the price ■ Jwith His own Blood. He reconciled us Back to! f God Qust as Adam & Eve were before the fall of j •man; Romans Chap. 5) He made us to be HisJ J brothers and sisters, joint heirs together with? ,him of all that belongs to God the Father (Ro-S * mans 8:17) | | So we know if we are brothers and sisters S 'with Jesus; we can call God "Abba Father"! j i If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord, 2 'begin to look at God as “Daddy" or “Abba Fa-3 |ther" and know that He is on your side, always # (there for you just as your earthly father is. God I i is for us, not against us. J | If you haven't yet accepted jesus and# (What he has done for you; He is not hrlding* i anything against you, He loves yc nd lias al- £ iready forgiven you —simply accept ,i and you# ' can then call God "Abba Father". 5
