The Arts-In-Education Program of the Bluemont Concert Series recently presented a performance by Larry Goldstein at the Wakefield School in Huntly. Goldstein’s performance included mime, clowning, actring, juggling, stilt-walking and improvisation techniques that made his show a captivating experience for his young (and old) audience. The children giggled and squealed at the antics of his mime character and laughed out loud when Goldstein drew Gregory Williams of Flint Hill onstage to perform with him.
The purpose of the Arts-In-Education program is to present an ongoing series of educationally-focused artist residencies in cooperation with local school systems of the community.
