Mrs. Mary Chadwell Hickerson, 64, of Front Royal, died Thursday, April 18 in Winchester Medical Center.
Funeral services were conducted on Sunday at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. Trueman R. Tremble. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Hickerson was bom September 29, 1920, in Warren County, a daughter of the late John D. and Mattie Rutherford Chadwell. She was the widow of Robert L. Hickerson.
Surviving are a son, Ronald E. Chadwell of Front Royal; five brothers, Aubrey Chadwell of Stephens City, Lawrence E. Chadwell of Huntly, John D. Chadwell of Fayetteville, N.C., Alfred M. Chadwell of Newark, Ohio and Robert L. Chadwell of Alexandria; two sisters, Bertha Williams and Ann Mauck, both of Front Royal and a granddaughter.
Pallbearers were Art Kreutz, Jerry Cameron, Ricky Williams, Bert Gilkey, Ray Winn and Gene Chadwell.
