RCHS On Review
The RCHS Booster Club will present “RCHS On Review”, a variety show that will knock your socks off on Friday, April 26 at 8 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
A special appearance by “DUECE”, a professional musical dynamo from Fairfax, will flabbergast you with their talent and unique computerized drummer.
High school students will be performing their skills on stage, and Robert Chappell, the RCHS principal, and a few of his talented teachers, such as Rebecca Robert-Show and Kathy Hewitt, will surprise you with their array of abilities.
Admission is $2.50 for adults, $1.50 for students and children and homemade refreshments will be sold.
The proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards an activities “marquee” that will be built in front of the school and new uniforms for the cheerleaders.
Bikeathon
On Saturday, April 27, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Washington Cash Store, adults and children will mount their bicycles and peddle the Fodderstack Road in an effort to raise money for the continual research into childhood cancer being conducted at St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
The ride will last six hours and the object is to secure sponsors who will donate an agreed Upon amount per mile ridden. Pre-registration begins at 9:30 a.m., and in the event of rain, the ride will be rescheduled for the following weekend, May 4.
