outstanding athletes at Rappahannock County High School at the recent awards banquet. Among those who received trophies were Ronnie Myers for best varsity basketball defense; Charles Thomas, best cross country runner; Bobbie Smoot, best free throw percentage; Gary Williams, best JV basketball player; Bill Kilby, basketball sportsmanship award; Harry Jordan, most valuable basketball player and Bill Taylor, most promising cross country runner.

chevrons were presented Rappahannock Lions Paul Nichols and Capt. L. B. Stuart for 20 years of continuous membership in Jjhe ,., dub. District Governor Keiii Hitch made the presentation at the Lions anniversary dinner held April 14 at the Flint Hill fire hall.
