Mrs. Diane Graefe Mundey of AmissviUe died April 21 at Fauquier Hospital after fighting cancer for the past year.
Mrs. Mundey, a 1971 graduate of the University of Florida, had been employed by the U.S. Postal Service since 1973. She transferred to the Warrenton post office in 1983 when her husband C. Stewart Mundey was appointed postmaster at Amissville.
She had become well known in Warrenton and Amissville and will be missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Mundey is survived by her husband, her stepfather and mother Mr. and Mrs. William F. Ballard, Springfield, her father Carl W. Graefe, Miami, Fla., and her brother Douglas Eddington, Arlington.
Funeral services were conducted April 23 at Moser Funeral Home by Rev. Robert Dunphy and Rev. Steven Parker. Interment was at Leeds Cemetery, Hume.
