stone, and stopped at the castle overlooking the Neckar River. The students enjoyed their night in the elegant hotel that used door cards rather than keys.

The next day included a cruise down the most scenic section of the Rhine River to St. Joan, passing many castles and vineyards at well as the legendary Lorelai. That evening, many of the students visited the student inns or the local discos.

On the last day of the trip, the group drove through Germany, across the Moselle River into Luxembourg where they visited the cemetary where General George Patton is buried.

A movie showing the 1919 homecoming of Warren County’s World War I soldiers will be shown April 27 at 7:30 p.m. at the E. Wilson Morrison home on Crescent St., Front Royal.

Tickets at $3 may be purchased from members of the Warren Rifles Chapter, United Daughters of the Confederacy.
