Last Wednesday, he reported that Bruce Critzer had quoted him a price of $1,200 for the entire job: burying the line under Blue Ridge Ave. and digging the 340- foot trench to the house.
Mrs. Butler told the council last Wednesday that she had been quoted a second price of $500 from a contractor to dig the ditch from the' utility pole to the house. She added that the setting of a pole for the power line to cross the street would; be done by Potomac Edison at no charge to them. “Mr. Roach (at Potomac Edison) says the expense of burying the line underground is our problem.”
