Surviving are his wife, Mary V. Kindall, three sons, John William Kindall Jr. of Culpeper, Thomas Lee Kindall of Sperryville and James Edward Kindall of Front Royal, a daughter Patricia Lynn Baker of Washington, three sisters, Virgie Sisk of Gore, Nannie Payne and Frances Bailey of Front Royal, and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Nov. 2 at the Maddox Funeral Home, Front Royal, by the Rev. John Burke. Burial was in Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery, Luray.
Pallbearers were Tommy Sealock, Allie Huff, James Freeman, Archie D. Bailey Jr., Billy Payne and John Franklin Huff Sr.
Honorary pallbearers were Reid Payne and Roger Huff.

Ernest Lee Rooker Sr., 54, of Washington, died Oct. 28 at Oak Springs Extended Care Facility in Warrenton.
A native of Leesburg, Fla., he was employed by Tom Lee Orchards at Washington.
