At its 15th Annual Professional Improvement Conference, the Northern District Extension Secretaries’ Association named Jan Palmer of the Rappahannock office to be its reporter. Other officers elected to two-year terms were: Jean Miller (Northern District), president; Nora Belle Comer (Page), vice president; Margaret Clatterbuck (Madison) secretary; Debbie Gatewood (Spotsylvania), treasurer.
Guest speakers at the meeting, which was held at the Northern District office in Fairfax, included Dr. John Huddleston, who gave an update on Extension programs, Barbara Hurless and Bob Doyle.
