NSDAR members to meet

On November 10 at 1:30 p.m. the Culpeper Minute Men Chapter, NSDAR, will meet in the Culpeper United Methodist Church. Lt. Col. Hans R. Heinz, Marine Corps (Ret.), National Defense, will speak on the ROTC program.

Music Boosters fundraiser

RCHS Music Boosters will again sell Florida fresh citrus fruit far their fundraiser this year. Orders for the fruit may be placed with any choir or band student, with Ms. Fox or Mr. Orth, or at the RCHS office. The delivery date is Dec. 10. Payment is due at the time the order is placed. Prices are: navel oranges, $17 4/5 bushel, $9 2/5 bu.; red grapefruit, $14/$7.50; Tangelos, $15/$8; Homlins, $14/$7.50. For additional information call the high school, 987-8575.

Middle St. Gallery art classes

Continuing with Drawing: The class is designed to accommodate students with different levels of proficiency in drawing, said instructor Robin Purnell. Individual attention will be given, including critiques and discussion by the participants at each session. Techniques will include still-life compositions and portrait sessions, which will sharpen the powers of observation and refine drawing skills. Participants may choose their own medium, including pencil, charcoal, colored pencil, pastel, pen and ink or brush. Classes will be held each Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 from Nov. 10 through Dec. 15 at the gallery. The cost is $65, which does not include materials. To register call Ms. Purnell, 675-3081.
