To the editor:
A quote in your Oct. 29 edition on page 18 has been brought to my attention by outraged friends who insist that I address the statement: “ ‘Dotsie Davis - she’s taken the money and Bhe’s gone off,’ said Frank Reynolds.”
This statement by Reynolds is a total misrepresentation of the facts and a reckless, irresponsible disregard to the truth.
“She’s gone off. . . ” In fact: (1) I live in Amissville; (2) I have a telephone listing in the same C & P telephone directory in which Reynolds is listed; (3) I receive monthly mortgage payments from Morehouse at the same P.O. Box in Washington where he has always sent payments; (4) I have seen both Reynolds and Morehouse several times during the last month but neither mentioned the encroachment to me or at any other time.
