Holiday Gazette

The Holiday Recreation Gazette, the comprehensive listing of all Fauquier County Parks and Recreation Department programs for November and December, will be available Nov. 5 at the department offices and
as an insert in The Fauquier Democrat. The Gazette will also be available at all Fauquier County Puhlic Schools and the Fauquier County Public Library after Nov. 12.
Holiday activities planned include a Medieval Christmas feast, workshops on making your own greens and gingerbread houses, holiday stress and not smoking. New additions are a youth holiday camp, a
“New Year’s Resolution” fitness challenge and a program on how to eat nutritionally during the holidays.
Registration takes place Nov. 17 through 25 at the department office at 62 Culpeper Street in Warrenton.
The special Holiday issue will be followed on Dec. 17 by the winter Recreation Gazette listing the Parks
and Recreation programs for January through March.
