According to a member of the Aesthetics Committee, “it will be a quiet place in town - part of Trinity Church’s cooperation in maintaining the natural ambience of the town.” He added that the church plans to use the area for weddings, teas, outdoor exhibits and other similar events, as well as “just a quiet place to sit or read.”
Beginning with a design by Laurie Matthews of Front Royal, the Aesthetics Committee executed a plan which harmonized with the existing plantings around The Inn at Little Washington, across Middle St., concentrating on developing the beauty of that end of the town.
The work was accomplished through gifts to the church, given “to create a memorial fund to the glory of God and in loving memory of friends and relatives who have passed on,” the committee member said.
