Independence Day closings
The following businesses and county offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day:
The Rappahannock National Bank in Washington and the Farmers and Merchants Bank in Flint Hill.
The county government offices and the Rappahannock Social Services Department will also be closed.
Family Guidance Services of Rappahannock will be closed. In case of an emergency, clinic staff may be reached by calling 675-3329.
The Rappahannock Health Department and area post offices will also be closed.
