The Town Planning Commission recommended approval for Newbill Miller’s proposed subdivision of his property Monday evening and decided with two members absent not to begin consideration of the Comprehesive Plan.
Mr. Miller had applied to divide his approximately 5.6 acre property into two parcels, one containing his house and 2.6 acres and the other containing about three acres.
The planners went through detailed procedures to make sure Mr. Miller’s application met all of the requirements of the 1981 subdivision ordinance. The new subdivision ordinance has not yet been adopted by Town Council.
