'1776' showings 4th of July RAAC has made special arrangements to show the patriotic mo‘tion picture “1776,” a full-length musical comedy portraying Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and the other signers of the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia during the historic summer of 1776. There will be two showings of this happy hit movie at the Theater; at 1:30 p.m. and again at 5 p.m. A special holiday price will be $2 admission for all ages. For information call RAAC at 675-3193.
Dodson reunion The Ernest and Neva Nicholson Dodson family reunion will be held at the Rappahannock Park near Washington on July 14. All relatives and friends are invited to attend. Everyone is asked to bring a picnic lunch. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m.
