Wakefield Country Day School, the Huntly institution that begins classes this week, announced it has received a gift of $100,000 from an anonymous dbnor who called the school last Wednesday.
The donor, known to most at the school as “Roger,” had been contacted by a parent at the school and told headmaster Pamela Lynn he felt “guided” to give the school the money.
The only condition of the donation is that a voluntary religion course be made available to all students who wish to take it during the 1992-93 academic term.
