When Wakefield School moves into Marshall Manor in September, the quiet town will receive a dash of energy, the sound of small footsteps, » the tinkle of childrens’ laughter. And with traffic levels generated by the school estimated to be, 322 trips a day in addition to the current 80 trips a day that the Marshall Manor retirement home generates, Colgan has good reason to look forward to the start of school.
He said that school officials approached him recently to work out a possible contract on provision of diesel fuel for the school buses that will serve the new Wakefield. The school estimates that seven buses will make 10 trips a day, good news for Amoco.
