Oratorio holds auditions
The Front Royal Oratorio Society begins rehearsals for "Many Moods of Christmas" and Mozart's "Coronation Mass" at the Front Royal Presbyterian Church at 7:30 p.m. Monday Sept. 9.
Auditions for new members will be held at 7 p.m. Sept. 9,16, 23.

Performing folk and original music at the Woodsmoke Cafe in Sperryville Friday night is Fauquier County's Chet Lowther. The music starts at 8:30 p.m., the cover charge is $2, and the regular menu is available.
