Earlier this summer the Rappaiaunock Extension Homemakers mducted two of their annual comiuinitv services projects. On Sunay, June 9, they hosted the '•acealaureate Tea for graduates, heir families, and school staff at dappahannock High. This is a comminity service that the Extension Intnemakers have been doing for ver 20 years. The week of June 24>. the Extension Homemakers prowled homemade cookies each momig for snacks for 4-H Day Camp.
When you consider that over 300 people attended the Baccalaureate Service and that we had 107 partici■ants (campers, teen leaders, and intructors) each day at 4-H Day amp, that’s a lot of cookies! And, hat’s a lot of generous Extension himemakers who donated their inredients. their time, and their tal■ nt to bake the cookies.
