Nellie Mitchell
Nellie Mae Keyser Mitchell, 65, of Washington, died Thursday, Aug. 29 in the Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
The funeral was conducted Saturday, Aug. 31 at the Washington Baptist Church by the Rev. Darrell Bare. Burial was in the Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Mrs. Mitchell was born April 24, 1926 in Front Royal, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Bertha Martin Cameron. She was retired from the Airlie Foundation in Warrenton.
Surviving are two sons, Donald Ray Keyser and Lee E. Keyser, both of Washington; a daughter,’ Phyllis Atkins of Washington; a brother, Randolph Cameron of Front Royal; four sisters, Katherine Dalton, Beatrice Ritenour, Peggy Tebo and Barbara Wilson, all of Front Royal; her fiance, Donald Turner of Washington; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

organizing
A support group for organ transplant recipients, their families, and potential recipients is being formed in the Culpeper area.
The first meeting will be at Culpeper Baptist Church, 318 S. West St., Culpeper at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 5.
Those who fit one of these categories and are interested in becoming a member of the group, or simply want to explore the possibility, are invited to attend.
No structure or agenda has been established at this time, and' those who participate will determine what the structure and agenda will be.
