Rappahannock County Schools today announced its policy for free and reduced price meals for children unable to pay the full price for meals served under the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program. Each school and the School Administration Office has a copy of the policy, which may be reviewed by any interested party.

The following household size and income criteria will be used for determining eligibility:

If household size is one the maximum household income for free meals is $8,606 and the household income range for reduced price meals is between $8,606.01 and $12,247.

If household size is two the maximum household income for free meals is $11,544 and the household income range for reduced price meals is between $11,544.01 and $16,428.

If household size is three the maximum household income for free meals is $14,482 and the household income range for reduced price meals is $14,482.01 and $20,609.

If household size is four the maxilevel shown are eligible for free or reduced price meals.
