Nan McEvoy, Chairman for the SHARE host site at Washington Baptist Church, announced the signup dates for September.
Each month the SHARE food basket contains $30-$35 worth of groceries for which participants pay $13 and contribute two hours of service to their community.
The SHARE host site at Washington Baptist Chui*ch invites all Rappahannock County residents to participate in SHARE in September. In order to do so, you must sign up with one of the following people:
Sandra Jenkins will take orders following church noon-12:30 p.m. on Sept. 8 at the Washington Baptist Church.
Marie Riedel will take orders following masses at 10 a.m. and noon on Sept. 8 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Washington.
Barbara Gentry, 675-3202, will take orders at the Senior Nutrition Site and Maybelle Gilkey, 635-5472, will take orders in Chester Gap.
Payment of the $13 must be in cash or food stamps. At registration, participants will be given a community service voucher to complete and turn in on D-Day (Delivery Day).
