All residents of Rappahannock

County may obtain answers to questions on operation and interpretation of the Presidential order of August 15 on prices, rents, wages and salaries from Rappahannock County Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service (ASCS) Office, according to H.S. Barksdale, Chariman of the County ASC Committee. County ASCS Offices throughout the United States have been chosen as information centers to answer questions from all citizens on President Nixon’s Executive Order which is designed to stem inflation and strengthen the national economy.

A progress report on the case against Potomac Edison Company’s proposed 138 KV power line through Rappahannock County being made by the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection will be given by John Dwyer, Joint Legal Counsel for the League, at the first annual meeting of its membership which will be held Friday, Sept. 10 at 8 p.m. at the county Courthouse at Washington, Va.
