Parenting class
Child Care and Learning Center will have its first monthly parent ting class at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12 at the Center. This month’s topic will be “Increasing Your Child's Esteem." This class will follow a lecture and discussion format. The meeting is open to the public and free of charge. Call Rose Ann Sharp at 675-32117 for more information.
Family portraits
Family portraits will be taken on Saturday. Sept. 2* at the Child Care and Learning Center. All proceeds will benefit the 7th grade Rappahannock Elementary Williamsburg class trip. The cost is $10 for an 11 x 14 photo. Packages will be available approximately three weeks after portaits are taken. For appointments call Martha Kid well or Arthur Neufeld at 987-8259.
Fall registration planned
Registration for the fall term at Spring Mountain School will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 14 at William Carrigan’s school house in Washington. For more information call Bethanv Craig at 9878606.
Flexercise classes
A six-week series of flexercise classes will begin at 5:45 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 9 at Rappahannock Elementary. Classes will be held Mondays and Thursdays for $30. Beginners are welcome. For more information call Rose Ann Sharp at 675-3887, evenings.
