Eunice Menefee
Mrs. Eunice Virginia Menefee, of Culpeper, widow of Elbert R. Menefee, died Wednesday, Aug. 28 at her residence.
A native of Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Virtie Settle Deal. She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church at Scrabble.
She is survived by a son, Ray Glenn Menefee of Culpeper; two step-grandchildren, James Lee Shiflett of Orange and Tina Marie Shiflett of Fredericksburg; and a stepgreat-grandson, Matthew Edward Shiflett of Fredericksburg.
A funeral service was held Saturday, Aug. 31 at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home, with the Rev. John S. Farrar officiating. Interment was in Hillcrest Memory Gardens near Jeffersonton.
Pallbearers were Linwood Pullen, William Menefee, Earl Keller Jewell, John Durham, James Shiflett and Ronnie Pullen.
Honorary pallbearers were Earl Jewell, Lewis Cubbage, Scott Evans, Kenny Deal, Henry Banks, Jack Campbell and Woodrow Coughlin.
