Melt in your mouth cookies
(Betty Jenkins) 1 c. margarine 1 c. powdered sugar 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. soda 1 tsp. cream of tartar 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. cooking oil 4 c. flour Mix ingredients in order given. Chill dough. Form dough into walnut size balls. Flatten with glass dipped in sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Sprinkle with sugar while warm. Dough can be frozen.
