Sperryville Christmas event
The Sperryville Business Council will sponsor the Blue Ridge Christmas weekend starting Friday with merchants offering specials and a variety of Christmas shopping opportunities. The event takes place from 10a.m.-6 p.m. Friday-Sunday, with extra long hours Saturday.

Btoodmobile to visit
The Rappahannock Extension Homemaker Clubs will sponsor the American Red Cross Bloodmobile from 3:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4 at the Washington Fire Hall.
Anyone in good health, at least 17 years old, and weighing at least 110 pounds is eligible to donate. The holiday season is always a time when extra blood supplies are needed.
