RAAC adds Saturday movies

For the next two months the Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community (RAAC) will be offering movies at The Theatre at Washington, Va. on both Saturdays and Sundays.

The new offering starts this week with "Rocketeer,” 7:30 p.m. Nov. 30 and 7:30 p.m.Dec. 1.

The fearless '30s comic book hero skyrockets onto the screen in a Disney Studios production. A test pilot discovers an experimental rocket pack that allows him to fly, setting off a monumental struggle between the forces of good and evil. A blend of spills, chills and dazzling special effects by none other than George Lucas.

Rated PG, 108 minutes.

Tickets are $4 for adults, $3 for children.

Coming to The Theatre at Washington, Va. in December: "Robin Hood," "Hot Shots," "Nutcracker Prince," "Doc Hollywood," "The Silence of the Lambs," "Ricochet," "101 Dalmatians," and "Paradise."
