County Administrator John McCarthy gave the Planning Commission a preliminary update of the Capital Improvements Plan at their meeting last week.
The planners will consider the plan at their next meeting, and if they approve it, it will be advertised for public hearing in January.
The plan calls for $85,000 to be spent on acquiring and developing a waste transfer station in the next fiscal year. It also calls for $100,000 next year to purchase land for school expansion but does not include any fiinds for building any additional school space.
