Veteran Rappahannock Players performers Dinah Pehrson-Day and Howard Coon play Mary and Joseph. Tutt Stapp-Harris is the angel Gabriel and Jean Falk-Margan is the herald angel. Peter Hombostel, Sean Kilpatrick, Joyce Abell and Kristin Hibl are shepherds. Greg Foster, Valerie Weaver and Mike Mahoney play innkeepers, and Sid Gottlieb is the Star Singer.
Besides the cast members other singers are Ellen Manson, Deana Davis, June Jordan, Beth Levick, and Sarah and Lisa Hibl. Lyt Wood will play the hammer dulcimer, and Susan Hombostel, Cindi Andreoni, Helen Ziemer, Marge Atkins, Lois Manookian, Sean Kilpatrick and Lorraine Resting will be playing recorders.
