Christmas bazaar
A Christmas bazaar sponsored by the Child Care and Learning Center will be held at the school from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7. Special features will include pictures with Santa, bake sale, white elephant sale and crafts. All are welcome to attend.
Spaghetti dinner
. A spaghetti dinner sponsored by the seventh grade will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12 at the Rappahannock Elementary School. Prices are $6 for all-you-can eat, $5 single serving or |4 for children under 10. Tickets may be purchased from any seventh grader or at the door. All proceeds will benefit the seventh grade annual class trip. Raffle tickets will also be available and grand prize will be dinner for two at The Inn. At 7:46 p.m. the school band and choir concert will be held in the auditorium. All are welcome.
PTO meeting
The Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) of Rappahannock Elementary School will meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5 in the Elementary School library. One topic for discussion is school buses. Everyone is urged to attend.
Blue Ridge Christmas
The Sperryville Business Council will sponsor a Blue Ridge Christmas Nov. 29, 30 and Dec. 1. There will be door prizes, seasonal sales, country specialties, free refreshments, wreaths, trees, greenery, special gift ideas and country Christmas decorations everywhere. Giveaway at fire hall
There will be a toys, clothes and household items giveaway, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Washington fire hall. Snow date is Saturday, Dec. 14. To donate items or for more information call Janet, 987-9029 or you can drop donated items off at the fire hall Dec. 2-7. The giveaway is sponsored by the Washington Fire Department, Washington Baptist Church and the Virginia Skyline Girl Scout Council.
