Rappahannock Elementary School who receive the DARE training are given special certificates of “graduation” when they complete the course.

Sheriff John H. Woodward recently received a welcome letter from the Virginia DARE Coordinator in Richmond, Special Agent Michael E. Swiger, who had personally observed the quality of Jeff Brown’s teaching in a Rappahannock Elementary School classroom a few weeks ago.

The very complimentary letter ended with “I wish to thank you for your decision to enter the program and Lt. Brown for his excellent job in the presentation of the DARE curriculum. I have no doubt the children of Rappahannock County will benefit immeasurably.”

The Rappahannock Lions concur and wish Lt. Jeff Brown and the DARE program at Rappahannock Elementary School “continued success.”
