the celebration will be colonial meals served at local restaurants. Come sample the delectible tastes of peanut soup, Cornish game hens, traditional salt-cured and glazed ham, chicken and dumplings, Sally Lund bread and combread, Brunswick stew, and a variety of traditional desserts, including apple, pumpkin, and pecan pie.

A highlight of the celebration will be the live entertainment. From the traditional elegance of the minuet and Baroque and Renaissance chamber music to the rich ballads and tales of troubadour, visitors will enjoy traditional colonial music and dancing. Festivities will include a community bonfire and carolling. Saturday evening will be capped by two live performances.
