Susie Brown
Mrs. Susie Dodson Brown, 76, of Sperryville, died Thursday, Nov. 21 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Brown was bom Oct. 23, 1915 in Rappahannock County, the daughter of the late Ernest and Mary Jane Dodson.
She was retired from Aileen in Flint Hill and a member of the Sperryville United Methodist Church. She was married to the late Richard Brown.
Survivors include three sons, John D. Brown of Luray, Richard A. Brown of Sperryville and Thomas E. Brown and daughter-in-law Joyce Brown of Boston; one granddaughter; and two sisters, Gladys Anderson and Annie Mary Oden, both of Culpeper.
Mrs. Brown was predeceased by a son, Franklin D. Brown. « Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 23 at Sperryville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Merlin Shorb officiating. Burial was in Sperryville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Roger Anderson, David Anderson, Randolph Clater, Ernest Clater, Danny Baldwin, Wilson Burke, Roger Atkins and Charles Corder.
Clore Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Charles Gore
Charles D. Gore, died Wednesday, Nov. 20 at his residence in Lignum.
Mr. Gore was bom in Rappahannock County.
