High school

collecting tapes

Rappahannock High School is again collecting Giant receipt tapes to earn credits for computer hardware and software for its students. Yellow receipt tapes will be issued for groceries purchased at all Giant supermarkets between now through March 6,1993.

Community members are asked to save their tapes and deliver or mail them to the school, or deposit them in boxes placed at locations such as the Rappahannock Library, Rappahannock National Bank, and the Commissioner of Revenue’s office. Math students will collect, total, and bundle the tapes, as well as help in choosing the new hardware and software."'" Last year over $40,000 in tapes were collected from supportive parents and community members.
