Lela Thornton
Lela E. Thornton, 86, formerly of Winchester, died Monday, Sept. 21 at the Winchester Medical Center.
A graveside service was conducted Wednesday, Sept. 23 in Mt. Hebron Cemetery by the Rev. Warren Boling.
Miss Thornton was born July 8, 1907, in Rappahannock County, the daughter of the late William J. and Julia E. Partlow Thornton. She was retired from the vinegar department at the National Fruit Products Company and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving are four nieces.
Jones Funeral Home in Winchester was in charge of the arrangements.
