Tracing the history of campaigns from George Washington to George Bush, Dr. Melder also focuses on political party appeals to women, pollsters, media specialists and television audiences.
With this year’s presidential campaign in fall swing, Dr. Melder’s presentation should be timely and entertaining to all those who enjoy watching and participating in the American election process.
The Oct. 2nd program “Hail to the Candidate” starts at 8 p.m. in the Rappahannock County Library’s meeting room, followed by refreshments and a chance to meet with the author. Admission is free.
