Last year, said Ms. Abell, she attended the audition in the capacity of a recorder player. Encouraged by Ki Theatre director Julie Portman to try out for a role, she did and ended up playing one of the shepards.
“People do not have to have any acting experience to be in this play,” said Ms. Abell.
“Working with Julie is such fun. She knows where she is going, but she never makes anyone uncomfortable, if they don’t get it right off the bat," said Ms. Abell.
