In RAA news, new officers for the coming year are Richard Pentecost, president; Gloria Deal, vice president; Lydia Pentecost, secretary; and Liz Blubaugh, treasurer.
The Rappahannock Athletic Association (RAA) held a fundraiser over the weekend which was a great success, according to president Richard Pentecost. Cheryl and Henry Diggs hosted the bam dance. Mr. Pentecost said everyone had a great time. After expenses, RAA hoped to make approximately $1,500 from the event.
Mr. Pentecost said the association deeply appreciates the community’s support. The baseball teams continue to grow. This year approximately 320 kids participated.
