ington Baptist Church invites all Rappahannock County residents to participate in SHARE in October. In order to do so, you must sign up with one of the following people:
Bill Welch will take orders following church from 12-12:30 p.m. on Oct. 4 at the Washington Baptist Church. Lillian Aylor will take orders at Promise Land Baptist Church at 1:30 p.m. Joan Doores will take orders following church services at Bethel BaptistPChurch in Amissville and Carolyn Green will take orders from 12-1 p.m. following church services at Amissville Baptist Church. Barbara Gentry, 6753202, will take orders at the Senior Citizens Nutrition Site and Maybelle Gilkey, 635-5472, will take orders in Chester Gap.
Payment of the $13 needs to be in cash or food stamps. At registration, participants will be given a community service voucher to complete and turn in on D-Day (delivery day).
The October delivery day is 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24 at Washington Baptist Church. All participants should pick up their groceries at this time.
Ms. Bridget also stated that donations of not more than $1 will be appreciated on delivery day to defer the cost of gas for the two men who drive each month to pick up the groceries.
