Larry and Shelby Welch have returned home after spending a weeks vacation at Mrytle Beach, S.C.
Amber Welch was honored with a birthday party to celebrate her ninth birthday on Sunday, Sept. 13.
Her guests included John and Frances Dennis and Ronnie and Ada Dennis and Jamie of Madison, Brenda Hitt of Amissville, Bootie and Rose Smith, Jason and Matthew of Warrenton, Stevie and Linda Dennis, Chris, Candy and Anthony, Emily Bare of Washington, Amanda Simms of Boston, Greg Clark and Steve, Molly and Nathan Welch.
The Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department is now selling raffle tickets on a Gun Lottery to begin the first of November. There will be 12 guns given away and tickets are (10 each and may be purchased from any fire member.
Emily and Katie Welch were among those attending a picnic at the Richard Settle home on Sunday.
Bryant and Holly Welch and girls Emily and Katie attended a birthday party for Ashley Walsh at the home of her parents Ronald and Susie Walsh at Herndon on Sunday.
The Flint Hill United Methodist Women met on Monday evening with Shelby Welch.
