As you prepare to celebrate the holiday at home surrounded by family and friends can you imagine how many other families in so many different countries will be enjoying similar festivities to those of our own? Have you ever wondered how our favorite festival traditions originated? Or how long they may have been part of our inherited culture?
“Christmas the World Over” is the theme for an entertaining and educational Friday Night at the Library program at 8 p.m. on Dec. 10. This special event will provide an opportunity to become better acquainted with the variety of ways that Christmas is celebrated all over the world.
