This holiday season, the town of Warrenton offers an attractive alternative to the traditional commute to the malls, with countless gift possibilities in a variety of price ranges.
Truth be told, local shoppers are faced this year with more choices than ever before. From toys and te< hnology to diamonds and dresses, Warrenton has it all.
Christmas is for children of all ages. But it’s the littlest ones who seem to enjoy the spectacle most.
Nobody understands this more than Elna McMann, “chief elf’ at G Whillikers Toys & Books in the Warrenton Center. “People are interested in quality and the basics; they want things that are going to last, that the child interacts with, so that they’ll have more interest in it and learn while they’re playing with it,” she said.
“One of the big sellers I’m seeing this year is Educational Insights’ Geo Safari, which is about the only electronic toy I have in the store. It’s a wonderful learning tool for kids from four to adult, really.”
