Rappahannock News Staff Writer

Unless library funds are again cut by the state, the Rappahannock Library should be eligible for a $7,000 increase from the state, Library Board Chairman William Young announced in a meeting of the Finance Committee last week.

However, to qualify for this increase the local share must be increased by two-thirds of this amount. The local funds can come from taxes or from endowment funds, he said.

As a result the finance committee recommended that the board set up a separate endowment fund with the County Treasurer to receive funds
