The members of the Planning Commission tabled consideration of amendments to the zoning ordinance to control field parties until the December meeting.
No one showed up for the public . hearing for the amendments which covered both for profit and nonprofit “carnivals, fairs, and rpusic festivals.”
The planners asked County Administrator John McCarthy to bring back proposals covering “for profit” events only and to try to focus on “field parties” or “music festivals,” rather than the broad amendments that had been proposed.
