Residents throughout the county will soon be receiving an outline of the many activities available throughout the town during the holiday season.
An activity calendar — the first attempt at compiling all of the activities scheduled in the town of Warrenton during the holiday season — will be circulated the week of Thanksgiving, according to Patricia Hannum, director of economic development for the town.
The town contributed $1,992 to the cause at its monthly town council meeting Nov. 9.
The calendar, which is slated to be an eight-and-a-half-inch by 14-inch fold-out mailer, lists events scheduled in the Warrenton area from the weekend following Thanksgiving into the New Year, Ms. Hannum said. She said that businesses, churches, and schools have been encouraged to submit their activities for inclusion in the two-color calendar.
